Civil Defence Mock Drill Live Updates: The Home Ministry has announced that a large-scale civil defence mock drill, dubbed Operation Shield, will be carried out today, across all districts in six border regions - Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

This round of drills focuses specifically on states and Union Territories sharing a border with Pakistan, in light of increased security concerns following recent cross-border tensions.
