Zeeshan Siddique, NCP leader and son of Baba Siddique, has received a death threat via email, according to Mumbai Police. The threatening message claimed he would be killed in the same manner as his father and demanded Rs 10 crore. The sender also warned that similar emails would be sent every six hours. An investigation is currently underway.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will officially take charge of security at Lengpui Airport in Mizoram on April 24, 2025. This will be CISF’s first deployment in the state and the 69th civil airport secured by the force since it began airport protection duties in 2000. Portions of a three-storey residential building of the Gujarat Housing Board collapsed in Vadodara city, officials said on Monday.

Residents were evacuated in time, preventing any casualty in the incident which took place at around 11 pm on Sunday, they said.

Rescue operation was carried out for nearly four hours to ensure nobody was trapped inside the building, chief fire officer Manoj Patil said.
