AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi took a dig at Pakistani military after its chief Field Marshal Asim Munir presented a fake image as a memento of 'Operation Bunyan al-Marsus' to Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif.

One needs to apply brains even while copying, he said ridiculing Munir over his failed attempt to showcase an old image of a Chinese army drill as so-called proof of victory over India.

"Yesterday, the Pakistani Army chief gifted a photo to the Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif. The Pakistan President was there, speaker of the National Assembly was present. These stupid jokers ... They want to compete with India ... They had given a photograph of a 2019 Chinese Army drill claiming it is a victory over India," he said during an interaction with the Indian diaspora in Kuwait.

Continuing to troll the top Pakistani leadership, he said whatever Pakistan says should not be taken even with a pinch of salt.

"Nakal karne ke lie akal bhi chahie ... in nalayakon ko akal bhi nahi hai. The so-called Mr. Field Marshal gives a photograph of a Pakistani-Chinese drill of PHL-O3. This is what Pakistan indulges in and that is why you must not take whatever it is saying even with a pinch of salt," the Hyderabad MP added.

It was during a high-profile dinner hosted by Asim Munir where he presented the framed photograph to Shehbaz Sharif. Soon, it sparked widespread online ridicule with netizens pointing out that the painting being presented as a depiction of the so-called operation looked strikingly similar to a photograph from a 2019 Chinese military drill.

Owaisi urged the Indian diaspora to only rely on what the foreign ministry and our official spokesperson are saying about Operation Sindoor.

India launched Operation Sindoor in the wee hours of May 7 in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack which claimed 26 lives. Indian armed forces carried out missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's (LeT) base Muridke.

Pakistan had launched Operation Bunyan in response to Operation Sindoor.
