Mumbai University released the first merit list for admission to undergraduate courses on August 6. Students who had sought admission to colleges under MU can now check the official website mu.ac.in or the websites of the respective affiliated colleges they applied to for more details.
The merit list can be downloaded from mu.ac.in by clicking on the merit list tab and downloading the pdf file that will appear on the screen.
Students who could match the cut off for this year will now have to get their documents verified and pay their fees. The deadline for document verification is till 3 pm on August 10.
Mumbai University will be releasing the second merit list at 7 pm on August 11. Students who make it to the second merit list will have to get their documents verified by 3 pm on August 17, following which the third merit list will be released.
While verifying documents, students will have to upload their passport size photograph, their digital signature, self-attested class 10 certificate or mark sheet, self-attested Class 12 mark sheet.
Notably, BSc IT admissions for St Xavier’s College will be based on marks obtained in the Class 12 Mathematics exam. The cut-off for the same for general category students is 94. Last year’s cut-off at St Xavier’s College was 92.31 percent for HSC Open and 98.42 percent for other boards, while that at Mithibai College of Arts was more than 94 percent.
