The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) continued its dominance in campus politics with victory in the Mangalore University College, Hampanakatte student union elections, sweeping all six seats.

This landslide win adds to ABVP’s exceptional performance at Delhi University and Hyderabad University.

ABVP described the outcome as a “historic mandate” and credited its student-centric campaigns for the win.

The victory follows ABVP’s win in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, where the organisation won three of the four central panel posts.

Similarly, at the University of Hyderabad (UoH), also known as Hyderabad Central University (HCU), ABVP swept all six key positions in the student union elections held on September 19. PhD scholar Siva Palepu was elected president, Debendra as vice-president, Shruti Priya as general secretary, Saurabh Shukla as joint secretary, Venus as cultural secretary, and Jwala as sports secretary.
