A man kissed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while he was riding a bike during the Vote Adhikar Yatra in Bihar. He was on Bihar's Purnea-Araria route when the incident took place.

The man crossed the security parameter and hugged Rahul Gandhi and then kissed him on the shoulder. A video of the incident surfaced on social media. Rahul was accompanied by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.

While the man managed to breach security, the security personnel quickly sprang into action after the incident and removed him from the spot. They were also seen hitting the man when he tried going near Gandhi again.

During another light-hearted moment during his ongoing Bihar visit, Rahul Gandhi was seen taking a light swipe at his own self after Tejashwi Yadav advised Chirag Paswan to marry.

"Chirag Paswan ko salah denge ki wo ab shaadi kar lein wo mere bade bhai hain” (We will advise Chirag Paswan to get married now he is my elder brother), Yadav said.

To this, Rahul Gandhi quipped, "Ye to mere upar bhi applicable hota hai” (This applies to me as well). This attracted a reply from Tejashwi again, who said, "Wo to papa (Lalu Yadav) kab se keh rahe hain aapko” (That’s what my father, Lalu Yadav, has been telling you for a long time).

PTI reported that the two leaders are expected to address a joint press conference later in the day in Araria, along with other members of the INDIA bloc.
