    Justice MS Ramachandra Rao sworn in as new chief justice of Tripura

    Governor N Indrasena Reddy administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new chief justice at a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan's Durbar Hall.

    Justice MS Ramachandra Rao was sworn in as the new chief justice of the Tripura High Court on Tuesday.

    Governor N Indrasena Reddy administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new chief justice at a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan's Durbar Hall.

    Chief Minister Manik Saha and his cabinet colleagues were present in the programme.

    Justice Rao replaces Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh as the chief justice of Tripura. Justice Singh was transferred as the chief justice of the Telangana High Court.
