Usha Vance was spotted without her wedding ring

US Vice President's wife Usha Vance on Saturday set headlines going after she was reportedly spotted without her wedding ring during a public appearance along with US President Donald Trump's wife, Melania Trump.

According to reports, both of them visited Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River in North Carolina. Owing to their visit, the White House said that they met with students, military families, educators and the service members from both installations.

Reports said that pictures from their visit surfaced on social media, which then created a buzz since Usha Vance wasn't wearing her wedding ring, apparently.

The pictures quickly invited comments from the public, some of whom remarked on the absence of the wedding ring.

“Interesting. Usha Vance minus a wedding ring yesterday at Camp Lejeune,” remarked Adam Parkhomenko, a political strategist. “It’s happening quicker than we thought…,” said another user on social media.

The remarks did not end as social media buzz only and took a political turn when even the Democratic Party also commented on the matter on X. “Is JD sleeping on the couch?” the party asked.

This came after the recent scrutiny that clouded Usha and JD Vance's relationship after the latter expressed that he wishes his wife would embrace Christianity. For the uninitiated, Usha Vance is a practising Hindu.

After his comment triggered controversy, Vance clarified that he did not mean to say that he wishes for her to become a Christan. Meanwhile, the event where he had made these remarks also made headlines when Vance shared a hug with Charlie Kirk's widow Erika Kirk, instigating comments about how Erika had placed her hand on the back of Vance's head.
