Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday reiterated that India's precision strikes destroyed terror camps 100 km inside Pakistan. Shah India added that India launched its most decisive strike yet against cross-border terrorism through Operation Sindoor, targeting key terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistani territory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Addressing a rally in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Shah said Indian armed forces gave a befitting reply to terrorists by going deep inside Pakistani territory. "Those who planned many international terrorist activities who were hidden in Sialkot and other terrorist camps; 'un sab ko hamare bomb ke dhamakon ke gunj ne ek spasht sandesh bheja hai' - if any terrorist activity happens with the people of India, the response will be twice in strength," remarked Shah.
Detailing the scale and scope of the operation, Shah said Indian forces successfully destroyed nine locations used by terrorist organisations such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. These sites, he said, included training camps and hideouts located as far as 100 km inside Pakistan.
“When Pakistan dared to launch an attack along the entire western border, our Air Defence System responded with such precision that not a single missile or drone breached Indian territory. After eliminating over 100 dreaded terrorists, while Pakistan was still contemplating its next move, we struck 15 of their air bases. Yet, we ensured that no harm came to their civilian population. We effectively destroyed their capability to carry out any future air attacks," he said.
