Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed the Nation for the first time since Operation Sindoor was carried out on May 7. In his speech, outlined three key pillars of India's security doctrine.
"No nuclear blackmail will be tolerated anymore," he said. "Terrorist attack on India will have to face a befitting reply, and the response will be on our terms."
Further in his speech, Modi lauded the Operation Sindoor and thanked the armed forces for displaying valor and achieving success. Talking about Operation Sindoor, his second warning to Pakistan was on military operation on terrorism.
'Operation Sindoor is the new policy on terror,' said PM Modi. Any terrorist safe haven operating under this pretext will face precise and decisive strikes, said Modi.
He underlined that India has laid down a new red line with this military operation on terrorism, stressing that India will respond to any future terrorist attack with a strong response at a time and place of its choosing, clearly outlining that "we are now in a new normal."
Modi declared that Operation Sindoor is still on and the Indian military will closely follow the actions of Pakistan Army.
PM's third warning was on global terrorism. Modi said there will be no distinction between terror sponsors and terrorists.
"India will no longer see terrorist leaders and the governments sheltering them as separate entities," he said.
