India to soon submit proposal before UNSC against three terrorists: Report

India will soon submit proposals before the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) against three terrorists who have been involved in terrorist attacks in India, including the 2019 Pulwama attack and more.

The terrorists are believed to be hiding in Pakistan, Economics Times reported citing officials.

The three terrorists are: Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir and Ali Kashif Jan, associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Yusuf Muzammil Bhat, member of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

They were involved in terrorist attacks including the 2019 Pulwama attack, 2016 Pathankot attack, 2008 Mumbai attacks, 2002 Akshardham attack, 2005 Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, attack and 2006 Mumbai train blasts.

Investigations by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has helped find digital evidence of their involvement, stated the report.

Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir

Jaish-e-Mohammad's Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir is allegedly a key conspirator of the 2019 Pulwma convoy attack.

Alamgir, 42, a resident of Bahawalpur, Punjab in Pakistan, is a senior leader of JeM.

As per the Ministry of Home Affairs, he is also known by various names such as Maktab Ameer, Mujahid Bhai, Muhammad Bhai, M Ammar and Abu Ammar Madam.

Ali Kashif Jan

Ali Kashif Jan alias Jan Ali Kashif, resident of Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the operational commander and part of the core planning committee of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), as per the ministry.

Jan, 42, was the handler of Pathankot Air Force Station terror attack in India. He continues to operate from the JeM launching detachments located in
Pakistan and is involved in recruitment of cadres for their training and co-ordinate attack plans at targets in
India.

Yusuf Muzammil

Yusuf Muzammil, is a resident of Lahore, Punjab in Pakistan, is a top commander of proscribed terrorist organisation of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is wanted in cases related to Akshardham, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and Mumbai attacks.
