Addressing a public rally in Gujarat Dahod, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded India's women power for the success of Operation Sindoor.
Elaborating on the ever-growing challenge of terrorism, the PM said: "The terrorists challenged us (Indians) with an inhuman act on April 22. We had to retaliate and with the blessings of 140 crore Indians, the Armed Forces conducted one of the most successful operations in recent history."
In the same speech, he highlighted India's potential for self-reliance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked why should India use imported products when the world uses Indian products. His public address in Gujarat's Dahod comes hours after he inaugurated India’s first 9000 HP locomotive engine. The PM is in his home state for the first time after Operation Sindoor. Dedicating the Dahod locomotive manufacturing unit to the nation, PM Modi highlighted the importance of the workshop, which has been built with an investment of Rs 20,000 crore. This leap in operational capabilities is expected to significantly boost freight throughput and enhance the line capacity across Indian Railways, remarked the PM.
According to an official release from the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi inaugurated the manufacturing plant in line with his commitment to enhancing connectivity and building world-class travel infrastructure.
