Maharashtra Deputy CM Shinde on Thursday targeted Uddhav Thackeray and that he doubt if his shadow will remain with him after local body polls.

"Mahayuti alliance has to win Mumbai civic body polls for city's progress and development," he said at Shiv Sena's Dussehra rally

He also called Thackeray a "conspiracy chief" who finishes off his own party cadres politically.

Shinde then said that PM Narendra Modi and armed forces responded firmly to Pahalgam terror attack.

"Bullets were answered with cannon balls after Pahalgam terror attack. Ex-Union minister P Chidambaram admitted that UPA govt did not strike Pakistan after 26/11 attacks due to foreign pressure. Not retaliating against Pakistan after 26/11 terror attacks amounted to betrayal of India," Shinde said.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray  warned the ruling BJP in Maharashtra not to lecture him and his party on Hindutva.

Without taking any names, he said those who have stolen the party and symbol can never be “original Shiv Sena party chief”.

“Despite the mud and rain, you all have come here; that shows who has the support of people,” Uddhav said during his rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai’s Dadar.
