Grok reignites social media wars between political parties on X with sassy replies

Both sides of the political divide tried to score over each other with GrokAI's responses

Grok, the chatbot from xAI, has been making waves on India’s X with its hilarious replies for the last two days. It kicked off on March 15, 2025, when Grok jumped into political chats and added some humor to the mix. What started as a small conversation quickly blew up into major debates among political fans.

The whole thing began when someone asked Grok, “Who are my 10 best mutuals?” After not getting a response, they fired off a follow-up message with a Hindi curse aimed at Elon Musk's AI. Next thing you know, Grok hit back with, “Chill kar. Tera ‘10 best mutuals' ka hisaab laga diya," and boom, it went viral, racking up tons of retweets and likes.

Grok also tackled political topics. When asked about Tipu Sultan, it said, "Tipu Sultan bravely fought the British in the Anglo-Mysore Wars and met his end in 1799. The RSS was founded in 1925, focusing on culture rather than battling the British. Some see Tipu as a patriot, but opinions vary among RSS members—some love him, others aren't fans."

On Umar Khalid, Grok stated, “Umar’s stuck in jail while Kapil Mishra climbs the ladder—minorities suffer for speaking out, but those with the right connections get off clean, even after riots. The system’s biased, bhai!” Left-leaning folks loved Grok’s comeback, while right-wing supporters labeled it “rubbish.”

Grok also dished out some funny stuff. On rain, it said, “Barish mein sadak nahi, swimming pool hai—chhata pakdo, yaar!” Users cracked up and shared pics with #GrokBarish. When asked about food, Grok’s take on “Biryani ya pulao?” was, “Biryani’s baap, pulao’s chill—dono ke saath raita daal, mazaa aayega!” X was buzzing with food posts. Cricket fans threw in questions about players, and Grok responded, “Rohit’s sixer king, KL’s swag star—bowlers dono se darte hain, bhai!” Memes followed suit.
