Fresh satellite images emerge showing how India hit Pakistan air bases during Operation Sindoor

These images show the extent of the damage caused by India to the Pakistani military bases of Sukkur in Sindh, Nur Khan in Rawalpindi and Rahim Yar Khan in Pakistani Punjab

Bholari is a Pakistan Air Force airbase located near the town of Bholari, Jamshoro district in Sindh province.

A new set of satellite images of Indian strikes capturing the damage to Pakistani air bases during last week’s Operation Sindoor have emerged, NDTV has reported.

These images show the extent of the damage caused by the Indian armed forces'  precision strikes on military bases of Sukkur in Sindh, Nur Khan in Rawalpindi and Rahim Yar Khan in Pakistani Punjab.

They also claim to show damage to Pakistani Air Force (PAF) bases in Mushaf in Sargodha, Shahbaz Jacobabad in northern Sindh and Bholari in northern Thatta.

The two countries engaged in strikes and counter-strikes with drones, missiles, artillery guns and other weapons after India hits nine terror bases in Pakistan on May 7, two weeks after 26 tourists were killed in a terror strike in Pahalgam. Two the terrorists were Pakistani citizens.

There was intense aerial warfare a night before the two sides announced a stop to military action. Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets struck 11 military bases across Pakistan in a coordinated and precision-led campaign.

The bases hit included Nur Khan (Chaklala), Rafiqui, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Skardu, Bholari, and Jacobabad. The biggest 'hit' perhaps was the Nur Khan air base, previously known as PAF Chaklala, in Rawalpindi, the headquarters of the Pakistan army.

According to reports, the strikes damaged 20 percent infrastructure of Pakistan’s air force. India bombed Pakistan’s Bholari Air Base, killing over 50 people, including Pakistan’s squadron leader Usman Yousuf and four airmen while destroying Pakistan’s fighter jets.

“The targets hit by India included technical infrastructure, command and control centers, radar sites, and weapon storage areas,” Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said at a special joint briefing of defence and external affairs ministry.  "In a condemnable and unprofessional act, Pakistan made the health centre and the schools at the Srinagar, Avantipur and Udhampur Air Force Stations as its targets. Because of this unresponsible act, the intent of Pakistan was yet again seen to target civil infrastructure."

Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of May 7, targeting nine terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK).
