Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan as New Delhi carried out Operation Sindoor in the aftermath of Pahalgam terror attack, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav has offered to serve the nation, given his training as a pilot.

Sharing a post on X, Yadav said he was ready to give his life while serving the nation.

"If pilot training can be useful for the country, then I, Tej Pratap Yadav, am always ready to serve the country. For your information, I too have taken pilot training and even if I lose my life for the country, I would consider myself fortunate. Jai Hind..." Tej Pratap said on X.

Tej Pratap’s response came after India on Wednesday morning launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ and struck nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

The strikes were aimed at avenging the death of victims of the Pahalgam attack and eliminating key Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leaders and camps involved in planning terror attacks on Indian soil.

Soon after the RJD leader posted the picture of his pilot licence on social media platform X, several social media users started reacting on his post.

“Brother, no matter how big a fool you are, you are a number one patriot," one user wrote, while another said, “Salute to your josh and spirit Teju bhaiyya. Requesting IAF to consider Teju Bhaiyya for a kamikaze strike on the ISI headquarters in Islamabad. It would break the back of their Army."
