Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav criticised the Election Commission of India on Monday, claiming that the poll body has 'lost its credibility'.

Tejashwi Yadav is set to join Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on the final day of the Voter Adhikar Yatra. Several other prominent leaders from the INDIA bloc will also participate in the yatra in Patna.

Yadav expressed gratitude for the support received during the Voter Adhikar Yatra and stated that the people of Bihar will remove the current NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government from power.

"The Election Commission of India has lost its credibility. The BJP has been exposed. The public will vote them out of power, sending a message to the nation from Bihar. Those who seek to undermine the Constitution and democracy will receive a strong response. We have received tremendous support during the yatra," Tejashwi Yadav told reporters.

The 16-day yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, aims to highlight alleged instances of 'vote theft' by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and irregularities in the voter list by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The yatra will conclude in Patna today.

The rally began on August 18, when Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav rode together in Sasaram. It covered 25 districts, including Aurangabad, Gaya, Siwan, and others.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders Yusuf Pathan and Lalitesh Pati Tripathi are also expected to join the concluding day of the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Patna.

Many other INDIA bloc leaders have participated in the yatra at various points. Notable figures include Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, CPI(ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Additionally, other chief ministers, such as Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu, and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, have also taken part in the yatra.
