Lashing out at the NDA government, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called the NDA "Double engine dhokebaaz sarkaar". He said that the NDA government is preventing him from meeting the Dalit and backwards students in the Ambedkar hostel in Bihar. He said that he was stopped by the Bihar Police when he was on his way to the hostel to meet the students.

"The Bihar Police tried to stop me. But they could not stop me because your power (minority community) is watching over me. We told PM Narendra Modi that you have to conduct a census... Under your pressure, PM Narendra Modi announced a caste census in the country. Scared of your pressure, he placed the Constitution on his forehead. But their government is against democracy, the Constitution, and the minorities," Rahul Gandhi said.

He also said that if Congress forms a government in India and in Bihar, everything that the public deserves will be implemented.

He further questioned Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as to why he's scared of letting him come to Bihar. "NDA's "Double Engine Dhokebaaz Sarkaar" in Bihar is preventing me from interacting with Dalit and backwards students in Ambedkar Hostel. Since when has dialogue become a crime? Nitish ji, what are you afraid of? Do you want to hide the state of education and social justice in Bihar?" Rahul said.

Rahul Gandhi allegedly reached the hostel to attend the event on foot. This was after his car was reportedly stopped by Bihar Police.

"India is a democracy, it is run by the Constitution, not by dictatorship! No one can stop us from raising our voice for social justice and education," Rahul said.
