Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said disruptions in the global energy supply chain caused by the ongoing conflict in West Asia have created concerns, but urged citizens not to panic and expressed confidence that India would overcome the challenge.
His remarks come amid reports of LPG supply shortages and criticism from the opposition, which has accused the Centre of not being adequately prepared for potential energy disruptions. The prime minister said the government always prioritises the interests of Indian citizens in every situation.
