Pune police have announced a reward of ₹1 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of a history-sheeter accused of raping a 26-year-old woman inside a bus at Swargate bus station. A Select Committee of the Lok Sabha, led by BJP Vice President and MP Baijayant Panda, will examine the Income-Tax Bill 2025 on March 6 and 7, 2025.
As part of its review, the committee will record oral evidence from key stakeholders. On March 6, representatives from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Ernst & Young (EY) will present their views. The following day, on March 7, the committee will hear testimonies from representatives of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

The Food Safety Department of Karnataka has found that 52 hotels using polythene sheets to prepare Idli, Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said.
"Food Safety department had collected Idli samples at 251 places across Karnataka. Earlier clothes were used for cooking Idlis but we got the information that recently the hotels have started using plastic. So our officers went to various spots and conducted an inquiry," Rao told reporters.
