Delhi Election Result, Full List of Winners: The counting of votes for the Delhi elections began at 8 AM on Saturday showed the Bharatiya Janata Party ending the dream run of the Aam Aadmi Party, returning to power in the capital after a 27-year hiatus. The election results also showed the Congress failing to open its account for the third consecutive elections in the national capital. Some of the notable outcomes of the Delhi elections include the defeat of AAP heavyweights such as Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Saurabh Bhardwaj, among others. Counting of votes began across 19 counting centres in Delhi amid tight security arrangements. The Delhi elections in 2020 saw the AAP emerge victorious in 62 Assembly seats, way above the majority mark of 36 in the 70-member Delhi Assembly. The tally was marginally lower than the clean sweep it made in the 2015 polls, winning 65 out of 70 seats in the capital.

A majority of the exit polls had predicted a majority for the BJP, projecting an end to the AAP's decade-long rule in the national capital. Only two exit polls had predicted victory for the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi.
