Delhi BJP candidates list 2025: Eyeing a return to power after a 27-year hiatus, the Bharatiya Janata Party has hit the ground running with an aggressive campaign against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and its national convener Arvind Kejriwal. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its mascot, the BJP hopes to end its power drought of almost three decades while the AAP hopes to continue its winning run and hold on to the capital for a third successive term.

Notably, power in Delhi has remained elusive to the BJP which suffered among its first defeats in the capital in the 2015 polls after storming to power at the Centre a year ago. the Delhi elections in 2020 proved to be similar with the BJP reduced to single digits amid a second consecutive AAP sweep.

With an eye on winning maximum seats, the party has fielded key candidates from prominent seats while keeping caste equations in mind. The party has so far declared the names of 59 candidates who will contest the elections to the 70-member Assembly.
