Delhi Budget 2025 Live: Delhi's biggest-ever budget sees Rs 9,000 cr outlay for clean water, sanitation

Delhi Budget Session 2025 Live: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who also holds the finance portfolio, presented the Delhi Budget for fiscal 2025-26 today. At Rs 1 lakh crore, the Delhi Budget witnessed an uptick of 31.5 per cent from the previous year. Gupta termed it as "historic Budget," with the BJP government doubling capital expenditure to Rs 28,000 crore against AAP government's Rs 15,000 crore. Delivering on the crucial poll promise, Gupta announced an outlay of Rs 5,100 crore. She also said that 50,000 CCTVs will be installed across Delhi for women safety.
