Four members of a family - including a doctor, wife and their two teenage sons - were found dead at their residence in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
Dr Balamurugan, a sonologist, his advocate wife Sumathy, and their sons were found hanging at their home. Their bodies were found in two separate rooms.
The police suspect they died by suicide because of financial problems, according to a report by NDTV.
The incident came to light when the doctor’s driver came for work on Thursday and after getting suspicious, informed the police. The cops opened the door abd found the doctor Balamurugan, 52, and his wife Sumathy, 47, in one room and their sons in another room of the residence in Anna Nagar, PTI reported.
It's not clear yet if the family left any suicide note or if they were under any pressure from money lenders.
