The BJP government at the Centre is doing injustice to the Jat community of Delhi, said AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal. According to him, the Delhi Jat students don't get reservation in colleges across the national capital.
Kejriwal said he wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to include the Jat community of Delhi in the Centre's OBC list.

"The BJP's central government has been deceiving the Jat community for the last 10 years, now it should fulfill its promise," said Kejriwal.
He was addressing a press meet ahead of the Delhi Assembly election on February 5. The national capital will be voting in a single phase to elect members for all 70 seats. Meanwhile, the results will be declared on February 8.

The former Delhi CM also recalled a 2015 meeting where the Prime Minister reportedly assured Jat leaders that their inclusion in the central OBC list would be ensured.
