The Calcutta High Court has sought report from the state government on three Public Interest Litigations regarding the alleged gangrape at Kasba College.

On Monday, the HC granted permission to three advocates to file separate PILs over the alleged gang rape of a law student in her college.

The PILs are seeking an investigation under the supervision of the court , demanding steps to ensure security in colleges across West Bengal.

The three advocates sought permission of the court to file separate PILs over the alleged gang rape of the law student from the division bench presided by Justice Soumen Sen.
