Mumbai Police have summoned comedian Kunal Kamra to appear before the investigating officer at 11 am today in connection with an FIR filed against him over remarks on Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made during a stand-up comedy show.

According to officials, the MIDC Police had initially registered the case, which was later transferred to Khar Police for further investigation. However, Kamra is reportedly not in Mumbai at the moment.
