The police told the court that two shooters have been arrested in the Baba Siddiqui murder case and one main shooter is still absconding, whose search is on. China said it lodged a diplomatic protest with India over the newly established office of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) of Taiwan in Mumbai. “There is but one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory,” China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told a media briefing here on Thursday replying to a question. “China strongly opposes all forms of official contact and interaction between Taiwan and countries having diplomatic relations with China, including the establishment of representative offices for each other. Russia is testing the combat readiness of a unit equipped with Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles in a region northwest of Moscow, news agencies quoted the defence ministry as saying on Friday. The Yars, which can be deployed in silos or mounted on mobile launchers, has a range of up to 11,000 km (6,835 miles) and is capable of delivering multiple nuclear warheads. Jagadish Vasudev, born into a Telugu family, was the youngest of five children of BV Vasudev and Susheela Vasudev. His father was an ophthalmologist at the Mysuru Railway Hospital. Sadhguru married Vijikumari in 1984, and they had one child together. His wife passed away in January 1997, and their daughter, Radhe, married Indian classical vocalist Sandeep Narayan in 2014.

Jaggi Vasudev, widely known as Sadhguru, is the founder and head of the Isha Foundation. In a major setback for Dera Sachha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the Supreme Court had lifted the stay imposed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on proceedings against the convicted godman in 2015 sacrilege cases. As per a report by the Bar & Bench, a Bench of Justices KV Viswanathan and BR Gavai issued notice on the plea filed by the Government of Punjab against the stay on proceedings.

Rajan Teli, a BJP leader from Maharashtra’s coastal Sindhudurg district, has resigned from the party’s primary membership and is set to join the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT). He was the BJP in-charge of the Sawantwadi assembly segment. A fire at a residential complex in Bholanath Nagar, Farsh Bazar, Delhi, on Friday claimed the lives of at least two people and left four others injured. According to police, the victims appear to have died from asphyxiation.

Restoration efforts are ongoing after the Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express derailed at Dibalong station in Assam's Lumding division. Sukkha, the primary accused in the conspiracy to attack Salman Khan at his Panvel farmhouse, has been brought to Panvel City Police Station. He was arrested by Navi Mumbai's Panvel City Police from Panipat. Sukkha, along with others, had conducted a recce of Khan's farmhouse in Navi Mumbai, with the intent of carrying out the attack. Yahya Sinwar, the 61-year-old Hamas leader, was killed during an Israeli patrol in Rafah, southern Gaza. For over a year, Sinwar had evaded capture, hiding in tunnels alongside bodyguards and hostages. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered his body after engaging with three militants. Initially, troops did not recognize him, but identification followed through DNA testing. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated Sinwar died "on the run," abandoning his leadership role. The U.S. has charged former Indian intelligence officer Vikash Yadav for allegedly orchestrating a failed plot to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a Sikh separatist leader and dual U.S.-Canadian citizen. The indictment, unsealed by the U.S. Justice Department, accuses Yadav of working with Indian and international operatives starting in May 2023 to target Pannun, who is a vocal critic of the Indian government and advocates for a separate Sikh homeland, Khalistan.

FBI Director Christopher Wray emphasized that the FBI would not tolerate acts of violence or retaliation against U.S. residents exercising their constitutional rights. Pannun, described as a political activist, is a prominent figure in the Khalistan movement, which India considers a terrorist threat.
