Ahead of the Assembly polls, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday alleged that the BJP is mixing poison in the water that is coming to Delhi from Haryana.
“The country has never seen such dirty politics till date. If the people of Delhi are not voting for BJP, will you kill the people of Delhi by giving them water mixed with poison? The BJP government there is mixing poison in the water coming from Haryana,” said the former Delhi CM.

He also assured that he would not let this mixing of water impact the people of Delhi. “I want to tell the people of Delhi that as long as Kejriwal is there, I will not let any harm come to the people of Delhi. BJP people, don't stoop so low,” said Kejriwal.
Earlier, in the day, the AAP released its manifesto featuring 15 promises, including 24-hour clean water. "BJP is making its Haryana government to release poisonous water into the Yamuna river. There is so much ammonia in the water that 3 water treatment plants in Delhi are on the verge of shutting down. 30% of the people of Delhi will not get water. In Hinduism, there is no bigger sin than stopping water. The people of Delhi will answer the BJP for this sin on February 5," said CM Atishi.
The Election Commission on Monday sought a factual report from Haryana on allegations made by Atishi about ammonia levels in water supply from the neighbouring state.
The chief ministers of Delhi and Punjab moved the poll panel, alleging higher ammonia levels in the water supplied from Haryana to the national capital will adversely impact supply during the ongoing assembly poll process.
The 70-member Delhi Assembly goes to the polls on February 5 and the votes will be counted on February 8.
