Factors like bird hit and overloading have been ruled out as the probable causes for the Air India flight crash, according to the initial probe report, accessed by CNN News18.

'Bird hit' has been ruled out as no carcass reported after plane crash. Overloading has been ruled out as the factor for the crash as some seats were vacant on the flight.

A DGCA source also told CNN News18 that "pilot error in the plane crash is unlikely".
