Bengaluru Aero Show begins at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Rafale, Su-30MKI sorties in spotlight

Bengaluru Aero Show: As per the advisory by Bengaluru Traffic Police, the diversions will be placed between 5:00 am to 10 pm till Friday, February 14.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 15th edition of the Bengaluru Aero Show at Yelahanka Air Force Station today. The biennial air show, which will be attended by nearly 1,000 exhibitors, will conclude later this week on February 14. In a statement, Defence Secretary Sanjeev Kumar said that the aero show will see participation from 78 nations.

Biggest ever Aero India will see stealth fighters such as Rafale, Sukhoi and US F-35 on display. Apart from the defence manufacturers, general public can also see the spectacular sorties. Elaborate arrangements have been made the help in ease out the vehicular movement in and around main intersections to Yelahanka Air Force Station.

Aero India 2025: Traffic advisory

As per the advisory by Bengaluru Traffic Police, the diversions will be placed between 5:00 am to 10 pm till Friday, February 14. Trucks, other heavy goods vehicles, private cars won’t be allowed on main routes leading to Yelahanka Air Force Station. All visitors are advised to carry valid ID proof and be ready for stringent security checks. As the daytime temperature may see an increase, people attending the aero show are being advised to wear comfortable shoes, carry hats and water bottles.

Aero India 2025: Date and Time - Full Schedule  

The 15th Edition of Aero India 2025 is a week-long affair. Starting today, February 10, 2025, the show will end on Friday February 14, 2025. The timings for the aero show are between 9:00 am to 6:00 am on these five days. First two days are designated for the business attendees and defence equipment manufacturers. Later, the exhibition will be opened for the general public. Highlight of the exhibition will be two air shows that will be conducted on every day of the event.

Aero India is another Maha Kumbh, says Rajnath Singh

Speaking at the inauguration of the exhibition, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the mega aero show was like another ‘Maha Kumbh.’ He said that the bigger objective of the show is to ‘strengthen our symbiotic relation with foreign countries.’ He also said that at a time when the world is witnessing a sharp increase in uncertain environment, India is home to prosperity and peace.
