Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday called for unity against the "jungle raj" in Bihar. This came as the state went into the first phase of voting on November 6.
Taking to the microblogging site X, the UP CM wrote in Hindi, " Whenever we divided, we were cut! We must not divide; instead, unite to deliver a befitting response to Congress and RJD's 'jungle raj' and 'mafia raj'..."
"Today, every young person, farmer, worker, and mother-sister of Bihar is seen voting in favor of the NDA. When the results come on November 14, the slogan 'Once again-NDA government' will be raised high," he further wrote.
While criticising the RJD rule in Bihar, he wrote, "Modi ji is providing ration for free, During RJD's time, ration wasn't available; instead, they would even gobble up animal feed."
"We must not divide ourselves by caste and creed; if we stay united, we will remain safe...With the blessings of the people of Bihar, the Congress, RJD, and all their partners and professional dynastic mafias, the forfeiture of bail for all of them is certain. Heartfelt thanks to the residents of Bagaha Assembly Constituency and Ramnagar Assembly Constituency for their immense public support," he wrote on his official X handle on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, speaking during a rally in Madhubani, Union Minister Amit Shah said, "PM Modi and Nitish Kumar have just deposited Rs 10,000 into the bank accounts of JEEViKA didis. Lalu's son is saying to take it back. Don't be afraid, JEEViKA didi. Not only Lalu and his son, but even their third generation will not be able to take back this money. On the contrary, if you form an NDA government and get Vinod Narayan elected, we will deposit another Rs 5 lakh into your bank account within two years."
The second phase of the voting will be held on November 11 and the counting of votes will take place on November 14.
