Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has issued an order to shoot the 'man-eater' wolves in the wake of continued attacks in Bahraich.

Since March, these attacks have claimed the lives of nine people, including eight children, and left 20 others injured. So far, four wolves have been caught and search for two more is underway.

The CM had on Monday in a meeting with local administration and forest department said that all efforts must be made to capture the animals. However, any order to kill the animal must only be issued as the last resort.
