Army Design Bureau’s ADG Major General CS Mann on Friday announced that no Chinese parts will be used in any military systems in India. “No Chinese parts will be used in any military components... We are keeping stringent checks and protocols to eliminate vulnerabilities, especially in drone systems," Major General CS Mann said.
The Major General's statement came hours after Lt General Rahul Singh claimed China's hand in supporting Pakistan. Earlier today, Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Capability Development & Sustenance), Lt Gen Rahul R Singh had said China was providing all possible support to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
Speaking at an event 'New Age Military Technologies' organised by FICCI, Singh said, "China is able to test its weapons against other weapons, so its like a live lab available to them. Turkey also played an important role in providing the type of support it did... When DGMO-level talks were on, Pakistan had the live updates of our important vectors, from China... We need a robust air defence system."
"When the DGMO level talks were going on, Pakistan was getting live inputs of our deployment from China. So that is one place we really need to move fast and take appropriate action," he added.
Lieutenant General Singh further said on Friday that during Operation Sindoor, there was not one but three adversaries that India had to deal with.
“Few lessons that I thought I must flag as far as 'Operation Sindoor' is concerned -- Firstly, one border and two adversaries, actually three. Pakistan was a front face. China was providing all possible support. In the last five years, 81 per cent of the military hardware with Pakistan is Chinese,” he said, adding Turkey also played an important role.
