UP B.Ed JEE on August 9: Lucknow University issues guidelines, candidates asked to reach an hour before exam time

The examination will be held in two shifts from 9 am-12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm on August 9, the Lucknow University guidelines said.

UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2020-22 will be conducted as per schedule on August 9 by Lucknow University. The university uploaded detailed guidelines on its website about the private, public transport and permission for movement on examination day, which is on Sunday.

Students need to carry their admit card while commuting to exam centre. The government has given permission to all candidates for the movement on August 8-9, Lucknow University officials said.

The examination will be held in two shifts from 9 am-12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm on August 9.

State B. Ed coordinator Prof Amita Bajpai in an statement said, “As per government’s directions, every Saturday and Sunday, and the government has given permission for movement. The candidates can travel on these two lockdown days. All they need is to carry their admit cards with them.”

Candidates will have to reach the examination venue an hour before the scheduled time, she added. COVID-19 protocol will be strictly followed at all centres. Thermal scanning and sanitisation of the examination centre will be ensured. More than 4.3 lakh candidates will be appearing for the examination at 1,089 centres across the state.
