YouTube has added a new feature to its Music app with a swipe gesture, that allows users to navigate between songs. This new feature allows users to change songs by simply swiping left or right on the album artwork, which was previously available on the YouTube Music Android app.

Previously, Apple users had to tap the controls at the bottom of the page or through the notification panel to change the music they liked, which was tedious and cumbersome compared to this new swipe gesture.

Additionally, the swiping gestures offer a more natural and fluid way to change tracks, especially for those using devices with large displays. This update also streamlines song selection and makes the overall experience more intuitive for iPhone users.

As mentioned earlier, the swipe to change songs feature has been available on Android for quite a while now, and it's now available on version 7.04 of the YouTube Music for iOS application. This new update is expected to roll out to all iPhone and iPad users by the end of this month.

In another interesting new development, YouTube Music seems to have rolled back the ‘Hum to Search’ song identification functionality. It was fully functional for the YouTube Music Android users last month. However, it appears to have been withdrawn in recent days and YouTube Music is yet to reveal the actual reason for this rollback.
