Indian Institute of Management Bangalore announces a one-day Faculty Development Programme on Blended Learning using Massive Open Online Courses or MOOCs. The programme is targeted at all faculty in management schools in India. IIMB faculty will guide participants on using IIMB’s online courses to enrich classroom learning.

The Faculty Development Programme will be conducted at IIMB on Saturday, 13 February from 9 am to 4 pm. It will include orientation sessions on MOOCs as well as three parallel tracks on using MOOCs in a blended format. The MOOCs in focus in these sessions are:
 

  • International Business Environment & Global Strategy – Dr. Sushil Vachani
  • Innovation & IT Management – Dr. Rahul De’
  • Introduction to People Management – Dr. PD Jose

 
IIMB faculty, who have pioneered MOOCs, will interact with participants and conduct the various sessions.

The primary objective of this workshop is to equip faculty from management institutions with requisite skills and resources to use MOOCs in a blended format in their classroom.
