ETV to commence Morning Urdu News in JK from May 20

Jammu, May 19 (PTI) Reaching out to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, ETV will be the first satellite channel to commence its morning Urdu news exclusively for JK from tomorrow. "ETV URDU is starting 'Morning ETV Urdu Kashmir News bulletin' daily from May 20 at 0730 hours, exclusively for the people of JK," a spokesman of the ETV said today. "It would be in addition to the half an hour daily ETV Urdu Kashmir bulletin telecast daily at 7 PM," he said. The decision has been taken after the esteemed viewers of our channel expressed their desire to give more coverage to JK state on national and international hookup. The bulletin would focus on political, social, cultural, sports and economic issues, besides news and current affairs. Notably, ETV Urdu is the first satellite channel that has been airing 30 minutes of exclusive bulletin on affairs of JK for the last seven years.
