Saharanpur (UP), Feb 12 (PTI) A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband over dowry in Hussain Basti area here, police said today. "Reshma and Nausheed had a love marriage four months back. The victim's mother in her complaint has accused Nausheed of killing Reshma as she failed to meet his dowry demand of Rs five lakh," Superintendent of Police (Saharanpur) Vijay said. Injury marks were also found on Reshma's head and neck, he added. Nausheed has been arrested and Reshma's body has sent for post-mortem, the SP said. PTI COR PY HU
