The Trump Administration will revoke waivers for the use of US technologies by the Chinese operations of an Intel Corp. unit, Samsung Electronics Co. and SK Hynix Inc., dealing another blow to China’s access to advanced chipmaking know-how.

The companies have 120 days until the waiver expires, according to an announcement on the US Federal Register. Companies can seek licenses to continue operations.

Both Samsung and SK Hynix rely on China for a sizable portion of their memory chip production capacity.
