Amid the dynamic rise of artificial intelligence in everyday services, more and more companies are looking for speedy integration. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran has become a prominent voice batting for the AI revolution. In a recent offsite event held in Dubai, Chandrasekaran reportedly spoke about the need of employees embracing AI. An Economic Times report on Monday said that the Tata Sons boss told the group companies to adopt AI at faster pace. The report also said that Chandrasekaran also warned those who are resisting the idea of AI integration saying kind of resistance will be potentially harmful for the businesses.
While there has been no official statement by the company, the ET report said that while addressing over 600 senior officials of the group companies at the Dubai offsite, the Tata Sons chairman stressed on the importance of sharp focus on domestic growth.
This isn’t the first time Chandrasekaran has voiced his support for artificial intelligence. Just last month, during the second edition of Mumbai Tech Week, he presented a detailed blueprint for an AI stack, emphasizing that it should be built on four foundational pillars.
The Tata Sons chairman had underscored India’s distinctive strengths in developing such a framework—namely, its vast data reserves, proven success with digital public infrastructure, a culture of frugal innovation, and the tremendous potential AI holds for addressing key challenges in sectors like healthcare, education, agriculture, and governance.
