Unichem Laboratories gets USFDA approval, up 4.5%

Moneycontrol BureauShares of Unichem Laboratories 4.5 percent intraday Friday as the company has received Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) approval from United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Montelukast Sodium tablets.Montelukast Sodium tablets 10mg are therapeutically equivalent to Singulair Tablets 10mg of Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp.The product will be comercialized from Unichem's Goa lab. The company now has total o19 ANDA approval from USFDA.At 14:39 hrs Unichem Laboratories was quoting at Rs 313.00, up Rs 6.80, or 2.22 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
