Trent, Tata Motors, Dr Reddys Labs among top losers on Nifty 50

Shares of Trent, Tata Motors and Dr Reddys Labs were among the top losers on the Nifty 50 index at 2:00 pm on Thursday. Trent declined 2.36% to Rs 4,781.50. Tata Motors fell 2.13% to Rs 668.40, while Dr Reddys Labs was down 1.97% to Rs 1,272.50.
Asian Paints and TCS were also among the top Nifty 50 losers. Asian Paints was down 1.9% to Rs 2,410.50 and TCS fell 1.87% to Rs 2,978.70.

Trent's annual sales for March 2025 stood at Rs 17,134 Crore, compared to Rs 12,375 Crore in March 2024. The company's net profit for the same period was Rs 1,447 Crore, up from Rs 1,353 Crore in the previous year.

 

Tata Motors reported annual sales of Rs 439,695 Crore for March 2025, slightly up from Rs 437,927 Crore in March 2024. The company's net profit for the same period was Rs 22,991 Crore, down from Rs 31,106 Crore in the previous year.

 

Asian Paints’ sales for the year ending March 2025 stood at Rs 33,905 Crore, compared to Rs 35,494 Crore the previous year. Net profit for the same period was Rs 3,569 Crore, down from Rs 5,424 Crore.

 

TCS reported sales of Rs 255,324 Crore for the year ending March 2025, compared to Rs 240,893 Crore the previous year. The company's net profit for the same period was Rs 48,797 Crore, up from Rs 46,099 Crore.

TCS has announced that the board will consider the declaration of the second interim dividend on October 9, 2025, with the record date set as October 15, 2025. The company has announced Interim Dividend of Rs.11.00 on effective date 16 Jul, 2025.
