Sharmila Joshi of sharmilajoshi.com told CNBC-TV18, "We have seen HEG as well as Graphite India rallied quite a bit with the rest of the market and in the near term when markets corrected obviously I think stocks which have gone out of proportion do tend to correct a little more. But the fundamental story hasn’t changed where prices of graphite and carbon black etc. are concerned. I think if one is a long-term investor, should stay invested."
At 15:20 hrs HEG was quoting at Rs 2,638.45, down Rs 11.80, or 0.45 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 3,146.95 and 52-week low Rs 201.00 on 16 January, 2018 and 07 March, 2017, respectively.
