NSE excludes Brightcom Group, Ujjivan Financial Services from several Nifty indices

Supreme Petrochem replaced Brightcom Group in Nifty Microcap 250 and Nifty Total Market index

NSE has excluded Brightcom Group and Ujjivan Financial Services from several NSE indices.

Brightcom Group has been removed from Nifty Microcap 250 index, Nifty Total Market index and Nifty 500 Value 50 index. Supreme Petrochem replaced Brightcom in Microcap and Total Market index while IIFL Finance was included in Nifty 500 Value 50 index.

“NSE vide its circular NSE/CML/61602 dated April 15, 2024 has announced shifting of Brightcom Group Ltd. to Z category (BZ series) w.e.f. April 26, 2024.”, NSE said in its press release.  The change will come into effect from April 26.

Ujjivan Financial Services was excluded from the Nifty Microcap 250 and Total Market index. Juniper Hotels replaced the company in these indices.

Ujjiavn Financial Services is being replaced after the company’s amalgamation with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. The change will be effective from May 3, NSE said.
