Sharmila Joshi of sharmilajoshi.com told CNBC-TV18, "Given the fact that Hindustan Unilever (HUL) is trading at a fairly high price and in term of valuation also it seems a lot of the positives seem priced in. If you are looking at a 4-5 year perspective, these companies sort of slowly move up because their earnings support them and you see a gradual upmove or they do not move for years and suddenly you see an upmove which we have seen in the case of Hindustan Unilever (HUL) as well as Reliance Industries, etc. recently."
"So a good strategy would be to start acquiring the stock on dips and first of all, let us wait and get the results out of the way today because broadly, from what I have heard from everyone and the general expectation is that since this quarter is going to be hit because of destocking, you may not see very great numbers as far as volumes, etc. are concerned. So maybe you will see a dip in the price from the level that it is at today."
"If it is slightly disappointing then that might give you a better entry point. But the whole idea is to try and buy at prices lower than this and try and stagger your purchase. So you can go ahead and buy, but try and buy on dips," she added.
