Tata Power in 50:50 JV with Exxaro; stock down

Tata Power is in 50:50 JV with South Africa's Exxaro. It will form a new energy company named Cennergi, reports CNBC-TV18.

The share touched an intraday high of Rs 116.30 and an intraday low of Rs 112.30. At 14:03 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 113.85, down Rs 1.75, or 1.51%.
 
It was trading with volumes of 272,709 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 1.09% or Rs 1.25 at Rs 115.60.
