Diwan told CNBC-TV18, "I think telecom stocks would probably be in the news for all the wrong reasons of may be another couple of months till things ease out in terms of these allegations and all the stuff. But on the fundamental longer term Idea Cellular would definitely emerge as one of the strong players within the market. You have got Bharti Airtel of course which will not let its leads go off very easily. Idea would probably play a good strong second fiddle. So my choice of course would be to invest with the leader, at the valuations which probably look attractive even at current."
