The inaugural day of Startup Mahakumbh 2025 set the stage for groundbreaking innovations, with thematic pavilions buzzing with activity across key sectors. Bringing together innovators, incubators, futurepreneurs, mentors, and founders under one roof, the event featured exhibitions, panel discussions, masterclasses, fireside chats, and high-stakes pitching sessions.

AI & DeepTech Pavilion

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) launched MeitY Mitra, India’s first-ever AI chatbot integrated into a government website, enhancing accessibility and user support.

NASSCOM, in collaboration with Zinnov, unveiled its latest report, Road to Recovery – Indian Tech Start-up Landscape 2024, offering an in-depth analysis of India's tech startup ecosystem and its growth trajectory.

AgriTech Pavilion

An impromptu pitch competition provided a platform for agritech entrepreneurs to present their solutions and gain investor attention.

Everge Agroscience Pvt Ltd won the Aavishkaar Ultimate Agritech Pitch, securing a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, while Agrolt Solutions Pvt Ltd was the runner-up, winning Rs 2 lakh.

B2B, Precision Manufacturing, and Defence & Space Tech Pavilion

India’s top 30 space-tech innovators showcased futuristic solutions, highlighting advancements in the sector.

IN-SPACe signed an MoU with DRIIV: Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation to support the development and commercialization of critical space technologies.

D2C Pavilion

The Good Bug, a leading gut health brand, launched its Advanced Metabolic System, a breakthrough in natural GLP-1 science for weight loss. Clinical trials have validated significant reductions in weight, waist circumference, and BMI within 90 days.

HealthTech & BioTech Pavilion

The 8th National Bio Entrepreneurship Competition was unveiled, inviting applications from innovators in the biotech sector. With a funding pool of Rs 15 crore, the competition aims to support high-impact startups.

Energy & ClimateTech Pavilion

45 startups presented sustainability solutions, including:

Lambert Technovation introduced India's first default primary treatment reactor for chemical-free wastewater treatment.

SatiQ Concrete Manufacturer, incubated at IIT Madras, launched low-emission concrete solutions.

UrjanovaC, a Mumbai-based startup, showcased CO2 capture technology leveraging industrial wastewater or seawater.

Futurepreneurs Pavilion

Students from across India showcased innovative solutions tackling real-world challenges, including:

AI-driven blockchain for organ transplantation, cutting critical time from 40 to 20 hours.

Smart agricultural drones and rovers enhancing precision farming.

Assistive technology for visually impaired individuals.

Menstrual care products with diagnostic capabilities.

AI-powered multilingual education tools for children of migrant workers.

Incubators Pavilion

Vedanta Spark showcased corporate-led innovation.

IITs and educational institutions highlighted their role in nurturing 1.5 lakh+ startups.

ENTICE 2.0 was launched to support clean energy and digital solutions.

Mobility Pavilion

Discussions revolved around electric and alternative fuel vehicles, infrastructure, and cost challenges.

Sarla Aviation unveiled ‘Shunya’, a six-seater air taxi, positioned as the world’s most economical and sustainable ride-sharing model.
