Harshjit Sethi, Managing Director at Peak XV Partners, has resigned from his position at the venture capital firm, sources aware of the developments told Moneycontrol. Sethi now joins a growing list of people who have left the investor over the past year.

He is the latest to quit after Partners Shailesh Lakhani, Abheek Anand and Anandamoy Roychowdhary along with MD Piyush Gupta and other juniors have all left Peak XV Partners over the past year.

Sethi, known for backing BharatPe, Sarvam AI, Darwinbox and several other companies, is quitting after spending over 12 years with Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India).

“Harshjit will be transitioning from his role at Peak XV in the coming months to pursue his next chapter, we are deeply grateful for his contributions and remain focused on serving our LP’s and founders,” a spokesperson for Peak XV Partners said.

Sethi also confirmed the development on LinkedIn. "I’ve decided to leave the firm and explore a new innings. It’s been a journey rich in learning and relationships," he wrote.
